Clark Aaron Parkison, 62, of Little Rock, passed away March 22, 2014. He was born November 4, 1951 in McComb, Mississippi to Troy and Marjorie Parkison. He was preceded in death by his father, Troy Parkison Sr. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Ahrens; his mother, Marjorie; brother, Troy, Jr. (Beverly); sister, Joy Allen (Bobby); step-daughter, Hayden Shurgar (Thomas); three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and two dachshunds, Jules and Pippa. Clark was raised in Jackson, but made Little Rock his home for most of his life. He loved the natural beauty of Arkansas, and took every opportunity to explore it. His many interests included fishing, sailing, and playing the guitar. He owned and operated Clark's Restaurant on Cantrell Road. Before retirement he became a mortgage consultant with Wells Fargo. Clark fought a seven year war against multiple myeloma. His family would like to thank the compassionate staff of Infusion IV at UAMS, and the dedicated caregivers at Arkansas Hospice. A visitation will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home, 6313 W Markham St, on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 4 to 6 p.m. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice or St. Francis House.
