Robert (Bob) Tredwell Kennedy

Robert (Bob) Tredwell Kennedy, 52, a native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his Colorado home on March 20, 2014. He leaves behind his wife, Darby, and many other family members. Robert spent his professional life involved in the financial field. He had served as the President of Tactical Allocations, LLC, Director of Financial Engineering with Janus Capital Group, and the Chief Investment Officer with Capital Allocation and Management, Inc. of Denver, Colorado. He received his Chartered Market Technician designation and had successfully completed Level 1 of the Chartered Financial Analyst program. He was a past member of the Board of Directors of the High Hopes School in Nashville, Tennessee. At the time of his passing, he was serving on the Board of Directors of the Meadows Community Association in Castle Rock. Robert, who was born July 10, 1961, graduated from Pine Bluff High School. He attended Rhoades College in Memphis and went on to receive his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Southern Methodist University, where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He then received a Master's in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University in 1993. Robert and Darby Kennedy were married on February 14, 2004 in Hawaii. They were together for 20 years. He is also survived by his siblings: Mary Lowe Kennedy of Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania, William H Kennedy, III of Bentonville, Susan Harris of Jonesboro, and Elizabeth Brinker of Fort Smith, as well as two uncles, James W. Kennedy of Little Rock and William T. Lowe of Plattsburgh, New York. His parents, Marylena and William H Kennedy, Jr., predeceased him. An on-line registry can be found at www.olingerandrews.com.
