Mahlon T. Sears

Mahlon T. Sears, 54, of Little Rock, departed this life March 23. Mahlon was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late A.G. and Irma Sears, on November 3, 1959. He attended Little Rock Public Schools and was a graduate of Parkview High School, Little Rock, Arkansas. He graduated cum laude of his class from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Survivors: sister, Dazzle (Kim) Burns of Fort Smith, Arkansas; brothers Kenneth Sears of Austin, Texas and Willie Coakley III of Oklahoma City, Okla.; uncle Kenneth (Pat) Sears of Little Rock, Arkansas. Funeral services 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014, Cross Street Christian Church, 1223 Cross Street, LR. Visitation 6-7 p.m. Friday at funeral home. Interment: AR Memorial Gardens, NLR.
