Royce David Stone

Royce (Rooster) David Stone, 57, of Conway, Ark. was born in Texarkana, Ark. on March 11 1957 to William Clark Stone and Joan Rountree Gunter lost his courageous battle with cancer on March 24, 2014. He was brave beyond measure. In his younger years, he was a bricklayer and welder. He was co-owner of Stone Sales in Conway, Ark. Royce was a Baptist. He loved to fish and to ride his Harley, and had a great wit that was loved by all. Royce was preceded in death by his parents and two infant brothers. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Kathie Stone; two sons, JD (Renee) Stone and Josh Stone, all of Conway; two sisters, Phyllis (Jim) Miles and Helen Stout of Little Rock, Ark.; mother-in-law, Margaret (Kenneth) Hooper of Mena, Ark.; two brothers-in-law, Steve (Pam) Hickerson, Scott (Angela) Hickerson of Texarkana, and sister-in-law, Paula Crouch of Mena, Ark.; two nieces and three nephews (and spouses); nine great-nieces and nephews. Along with extended Family and Friends. A visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014 at One Church, 1073 Front St, Conway, 72032 with funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at Crestlawn Cemetery in Conway, Ark. Services will be conducted by Roller-McNutt, 801 8th Ave., Conway, Ark. 72032. Memorials may be made to CARTI of Little Rock, Ark.
