Rex Maynard, 77, of Benton, passed away March 27, 2014. He was born January 8, 1937 in Wayne, West Virginia to the late Golden and Zelda Maynard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Virginia (Gin) Volpe Maynard, son, Rex Maynard, grandson, Nick Miller, grandchildren, Jared, Julie and Jennifer Miller, sister, Doris Krupka and brother, Donald Maynard. Survivors, daughter, Sheila Miller and husband, Willard of Benton, sisters, Mickie Zubek and Iris Suchy of Ohio, two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Chapel Services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Ashbys with Bill Hufnagle officiating. Burial will follow at Graham Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Cody Miller, Zachary Miller, Robert Hawthorne, Dennis Suchy, Rich Krupka, Cody Gwin and Jamie Miller.
