Curtis Franklin Vanderpool Jr.

Curtis Franklin Vanderpool Jr., 60 of Drasco, died Monday, April 28, 2014. Curtis was born May 26, 1953 in Little Rock to the late Curtis Franklin Vanderpool, Sr. and Martha (Roland) Vanderpool. He is also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Diane Pilcher. Curtis was a proud veteran of the US Marines. He was a long-haul truck driver, and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Curtis is survived by sons Chris Vanderpool and wife Montana of Cabot and Aaron Vanderpool of El Paso; the light of his life, granddaughter, Kayla Vanderpool; the mother of his children, Donna Harper of El Paso; nephew, Charles Pilcher and wife Michelle and their children, Steven and Brittany of Drasco; and his special friends, members of the Star Group. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Arkansas Funeral Care, 2620 W. Main St., Jacksonville. Funeral service will be at noon, Friday, May 2, 2014 at the funeral home.
