David Hugh Raborn

David Hugh Raborn of Hot Springs Village, Ark. passed away on May 2nd, 2014, while vacationing in New Orleans, La.0. David was born to David and Irene Raborn of Carlisle, Ark. on October 3rd, 1940. He graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1962. There he was an active supporter of the football team, and president of his fraternity. He remained a lifelong fan and supporter of the Ole Miss Football team. David was an avid golfer, and was fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to travel abroad and play on some of the world's most beautiful golf courses. David was retired, but had worked for International Harvester, Skil and Bosch. David is survived by his wife of 41 years, Linda Raborn, and his daughters, Patricia Lynn (Garry) Thomas of Jonesboro, Ark.; Donna Nadine (Stacey) Richardson of Lake City, Ark.; and Leslie Cathleen Nick-Monroe of Chattanooga, Tenn.; as well as ten grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Patrick Raborn, all of Carlisle, Ark. A Memorial Service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 8th CedarVale Funeral Home Chapel.
