Connye Jean Larson

Connye Jean Larson, 67 of North Little Rock, died Monday, May 05, 2014. Connye was born November 29, 1946 in NLR to Mildred Jean (Gorman) Barker and the late Harold Barker. Connye graduated cum laude from Arkansas College (now Lyon College) with a double major in English and French, and a minor in Psychology. She retired from teaching at Jacksonville Junior High. She was a favorite among the students, making a difference in their lives. She had a quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor. She is survived by husband Leonard Larson of NLR; her mother, Jean Barker of NLR; brother Randy Barker and wife Lorraine of Nashville, Tenn.; and nephews and niece Ben, Mia, and Lucas Barker, all of Nashville, Tenn. www.arkansasfuneralcare.com.
