Nelda E. Hicks

Nelda E. Hicks, 88, of Little Rock, passed away Monday, May 5, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was born to Carl and Marguerite Stephenson in Belle Plaine, Kan. She married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Bob, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons, David (Cathy) and Jeff (Lisa), six grandchildren, Lydia (Boyce) Hamlet, of Conway, Ark., Ashley (Mark) Weinhold, of St. Louis, Mo., Ellen (Dustin Magga) Hicks, of Los Osos, Calif., Adam Hicks, of Little Rock, Ark., Bobbi Austin, of Fayetteville, Ark., Jeff (Kendra) Stokes, of Siloam Springs, Ark. and three great grandchildren, Oliver Austin, of Fayetteville, Ark., Zayden Magga, of Los Osos, Calif., and Sawyer Hamlet, of Conway, Ark. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Drs. Lawrence Mendelsohn, Gene Reid, Gerald Silvoso, and K. Morgan Sauer, and to the caregivers at Hospice Home Care. Nelda is dancing in Heaven with Bob to the Big Band sounds. "The best is yet to come!." In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 901 N.
