Carmon Lowell Rushing

Conway, AR, 1931 - 2014

Carmon L. Rushing, 82, of Conway, Arkansas passed away on Monday, May 5, 2014 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on May 13, 1931 in Rushing, Arkansas to the late Clay Rushing and Ina Hinesley Rushing. Carmon was a retired Federal Employee from Eaker Air Force Base in Blytheville, Arkansas. He was a member and Deacon of First Free Will Baptist Church in Conway.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Doris Jinks Rushing; two brothers, Rodney Rushing of Rushing, Arkansas, and Charles A. Rushing of Benton, Arkansas; one daughter, Cathy Detwiler of Jackson, Tennessee; two sons, David Rushing of Denton, Texas and Brian Rushing of Collierville, Tennessee as well as seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday May 10, 2014 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, with Rev. Tim Harris officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Rushing Cemetery in Stone County, Arkansas. Online guest book:
