Doris Thelma Rose

Doris Thelma Nielsen Rose, 83, of North Little Rock, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 6, 2014. She was born Friday, December 5, 1930 in North Little Rock to the late William and Nettie Simmons Nielsen. She was a graduate of North Little Rock High School, a homemaker and a faithful member of First Assembly of God Church in North Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Reverend James Rose. Left to cherish her memory are brothers. William Nielsen (Dorthy) of Benton and Frederick Nielsen (Nancy) of Little Rock; niece, Judy Barclay of Hot Springs; nephew, Robert Nielsen of Benton; and great-nephew, Matthew Nielsen of Benton. Funeral service will be Friday, May 9, 2014 at 1 p.m. in the Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel (501) 791-7400, with Pastor Randy Jumper officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to service in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
