Marie Elizabeth Schulte, 94, of Little Rock died May 5, 2014. Born March 4, 1920 in Atkins, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Paul and Elizabeth Hegemann Wenger. A longtime member of Our Lady of the Holy Souls Church, she had been a resident of Pleasant Valley Living Center for the past four years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joe C. Schulte, two brothers Paul and John Wenger and two sisters, Catherine Wenger, and Ann Hutchins. Survivors are two daughters, Evelyn Felix (William) and Jeanette Donahue, all of Little Rock; a brother, Joseph Wenger of McHenry, Illinois; a sister, Josephine Klober of Atkins, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Matthew (Sonja) Eshleman, Michael Eshleman and Ashley Lawrence; two great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Jacob Eshleman and a host of nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Church with Father Erik Pohlmeier, celebrant. Private family interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. Rosary with visitation following will be at 7 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th St., Little Rock (501) 661-9111.
