Janice Louise Borecky Turchi

Janice Louise Borecky Turchi, 81, passed into God's arms on May 8, 2014 at her home in Pine Bluff. She was born in Pine Bluff to the late Willie and Julia Slaughter Borecky. In addition to her parents, Janice was predeceased by two brothers, Richard and Allen Borecky. Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 61 years, Louise Vincent Turchi; her sister, Marilyn Aureli and husband Geno; brother, Jerry Borecky and wife Jane; her children, Debbie James and husband Tony, Beverly Achorn and husband Jim, Greg Turchi and wife Becky, Gwen Hicks and husband Larry; eight grandchildren, Bryan Achorn, Patrick Neece, Angela Cartwright, Stephen Neece, Jonathon Turchi, Raymond Achorn, Stacy Hicks, Monica Turchi; seven great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who were very dear to her. A Vigil service will be held in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son at 5 p.m. Sunday, May 11, 2014. Visitation will follow the Rosary and Vigil from 5:30-7 p.m. Sunday at Robinson's. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pine Bluff at 11 a.m. Monday, May 12, 2014 with Father Frank DuPreez officiating and Deacon Noel "Bud" Bryant assisting.
