Nova Sandor

Mrs. Nova Sandor, 90, of Germantown, Tenn., formerly of Corning, Ark., passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the Gardens of Germantown in Germantown, Tenn. Mrs. Sandor was born in Pocahontas, Ark., on Sept. 14, 1923. She was a retired beautician and homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church in Corning, Ark. She married her husband, John J. Sandor on Oct. 6, 1951, he preceded her in death on Jan. 23, 1996. She is survived by her son, John J. Sandor Jr., and wife Susan of Germantown, Tenn.; her daughter, Mary Ann and husband Curtis King of Boaz, Ala.; and sister, Myrtle Brownfiel of Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, William and Axie Jackson; daughter, Paula Sandor; two brothers; and one sister. Visitation will be Monday, May 12 at 1 p.m. in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel in Corning, Ark. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Corning, Ark. Burial will follow the funeral service in the Corning Cemetery.
