Freda Mae Sherlin Casto

Freda Mae Sherlin Casto, 61, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014, at home in Chesapeake, Va. Born in Little Rock, Ark. She was the daughter of Jefferson and Lakaska Mae Sherlin. A strong and proud Navy wife, she traveled to Hawaii, Guam, Okinawa, Italy and Scotland. She was employed with Mid Atlantic Communications in Portsmouth, Va. She loved Razorback and Dallas Cowboy football and decorating or the holidays. Left to cherish Freda's memory are her husband, Wallace R Casto; daughter, Melissa Casto and her fiancé, James Williams; sisters, Vera L. Bowie (Jerry) of North Little Rock, Ark. and Norma J. Story (Gary) Batesville, Ark.; brother, Philip Sherlin (Gina) of Little Rock. Family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel on Thursday, May 1st from 6 to 7 pm with a memorial service to follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
