Alice Winona King Gardner

Alice Winona King Gardner, 76, of Cabot died Wednesday, May 14, 2014. She was born May 1, 1938 in Bigelow to the late Knotley Oved Stain and Anne May Freeman Stain. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Melvin King, Sr. and Raymond Gardner; one son, Melvin Loyd King, Jr.; two sisters, Lillie White and Mary Tyler and a brother, Frankie Rankin. Mrs. Gardner is survived by a son, Milton Thomas King of Cabot; seven brothers and sisters, Brenda King, Cleo Wilhite, Ruby Smothers, John Jay Stain, Ricky Stain, Knotley Ovid Stain, Jr. and Charles Wayne Stain; three grandchildren, Gabriel Thomas King, Jonnie Griffith Wheatley and Karissa Fawn Jackson; two great-grandchildren, Christian Wayne Jackson and Cydney Desha Jackson and a host of nieces and nephews.
