Beverly Stewart

Beverly Towery Stewart, 53, of Fordyce, died May 14, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Wanda Sue Haynie Towery. Beverly was a 1978 graduate of Kingsland High School and attended University of Arkansas at Monticello. She was the wife of Scotty Stewart for 34 years and the mother of Bo Stewart. She was the administrative assistant for Tom Tidwell at Shelter Insurance in Fordyce and a member of Zion Baptist Baptist Church. Other survivors include three sisters, Paula T. Searcy, Linda T. Boyter, and Renea T. Morgan, all of the Smith Chapel Community near Kingsland; two brothers, Bobby Jones of Kingsland and Joe Towery of New Edinburg; also survived by her beloved companion, Bella. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Zion Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Brother Nick Flowers and Brother Shane Matthews will officiate.
