Mrs. Anna Ruth Smith Roberts, age 69 of Prescott, Ark. passed away, Friday, May 16, 2014 at her home. She was born April 10, 1945 in West Liberty, Ky. to Kenneth Jennings and Rosa Bell Smith. Anna was a self-employed owner of a convenience store and a Baptist. She was a passionate Elvis fan and loving mother. She devoted her last years to her soul mate, Gary Rowe. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ed Roberts; brother, Eugene Smith; and sister, Betty Smith.
Survivors include her fiancé, Gary Rowe of Prescott; two sons, Donald Sander of Wilmington, N.C. and Barry Creager of Prescott; daughter, Trish Rymal of Prescott; two brothers, Roger Smith of Cynthiana, Ky. and Kenneth Smith Jr. of Tallassee, Ala.; fours sisters, Barbi Kinne, Cathy Coffee and Oma Ballard all of Paris, Ky. and Eleanor Hixon of Frankfurt, Ky.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; other family members and friends.
Visitation, 4-6 p.m., Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott.
