Calvin C. Sparks, 86, of Sparkman died Saturday, May 17, 2014 at his home. He was born June 12, 1927 in Thornton, Ark. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dave Sparks and Ader Underwood Sparks; wife, Bessie Russell Justice Sparks; five brothers; and four sisters. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Arlis and Bobbie Justice of Harmony Grove; one daughter and son-in-law, Doris and John Tye of Anna, Texas; and several grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday 6-8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Benton Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Key officiating. Burial at Sparkman Cemetery.
