Pervis Dale Farris, 78, of Vilonia passed Sunday, May 18, 2014. He was born September 4, 1935 in Pulaski County, Arkansas to the late Sterling and Minnie Pearlie Toney Farris. He was a charter member and deacon at Belmont Chapel in Vilonia. He retired from Ketcher Sheet Metal and was a member of the Little Rock Sheet Metal Local Union. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee Williams Farris; sons, Frankie (Jowayna) Farris, Eugene (Liz) Farris, of Vilonia; brother, Buford (Ora Lee) Farris, of North Little Rock; grandson, Chris Farris (Amber); granddaughters, Jessica, Kelsey, Katie and Colleen Farris, all of Vilonia; and three great-grandchildren, Mckynsey Williams, Preslee and Kyler Farris. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Baptist Hospice, Evelyn, RN and Hospice Aid, Gina for taking such good care of him! Memorials may be made to Belmont Chapel Church, 384 Hwy. 107, Vilonia, Arkansas 72173 or Baptist Hospice, 5601 Interstate 630, Exit 7, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
