Shirley Nona Mink

Shirley Nona Mink, 73, Hot Springs, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord May 16, 2014. She was born July 15, 1940 in Cord, Arkansas to the late Hubert H. and Nona R. (Moffitt) Simpson. Shirley was a member of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved her grandchildren and supporting their activities. Shirley collected dolls, liked basketball and the Razorbacks. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband of 44 years James Mink. Shirley is survived by her daughter, Debbie McMillion (Billy Joe); sisters Barbara Adams and Bonnie McManners (Gene); grandchildren, Miranda Johnson (Greg), Jeremy Anderson (Laura); great-grandchildren, Hayley Johnson and Jude Anderson. Visitation will be from 6–8 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2014, Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Bro. Charles Wray and Bro. Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Rush Fork Cemetery. Pallbearers include Tommy Young, Wendell Adams, Larry Anderson, Greg Ball, Billy Jo McMillion, Greg Johnson and Jeremy Anderson.
