Ernest Williams

Ernest Lee Williams was born January 2, 1947 in Little Rock, Ark. to Rev. Jerry and Eller Williams who preceded him in death. He departed this life May 17, 2014. He graduated from Horace Mann High school in 1966 and served in the US Army during the Vietnam era. Brothers David, Arneal and Murfrey Williams also preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Ernest Williams of Kansas City, Mo., Kevin Williams of Wiehadeni, Germany and a daughter, Tangelia Williams of Bonyton, Florida. Brothers, Jerry, Terry (Kelly), Donald (Karen), Stanley (Diana) and Benjamin Johnson (Chrystal) all of Little Rock, Ark., Julius and Gregory Williams of Chicago, Ill., sisters, Doris Williams, Cynthia Williams (Preston), of Little Rock, Ark., Betty Morris (Carl) of Pine Bluff, Ark., Sheila Sims of Chicago, Ill., Margaret Williams of Washington, DC, Maxine and Toni Williams of Los Angeles, Calif.; and 15 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Family hour will be Thursday May 22, 2014 from 6 til 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Friday May 23, 11 a.m. at Greater Center Star Baptist Church, 800 W. 33rd, Little Rock.
