Luella Nell Cockerham Allen, 79, of Little Rock, Ark. passed away on May 25, 2014. She was born January 7, 1935 in Memphis, Tenn. to the late William Stephen and Evelyn Woodard Cockerham of Mississippi County, Ark.
She is survived by her son, Tom Allen and wife, Terri; daughter, Lue Ann Allen Teal; grandchildren, Lauren Teal, Daniel Teal and Katie Teal; sisters, Dorothy Hope, Evelyn Giles and a brother, Stephen Cockerham.
She graduated from All Saints High School in Mississippi and attended the University of Arkansas. She was past president of the Little Rock Home Builders Ladies Auxiliary and a member of First Christian Church.
A graveside service will be held at Pinecrest Memorial Park, in Alexander on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Christian Church, 1500 N. Mississippi St., Little Rock, Ark. 72207. Arrangements by Ruebel Funeral Home, www.ruebelfuneralhome.com.
