Betty Ruth Hood Shaw

Betty Ruth Hood Shaw, age 78, passed away Monday, May 26. A daughter of the late Riley and Lula Bell Hood, Betty was a 1954 graduate of Brinkley High School and a member of the Brinkley First Baptist Church. Survivors: husband, Byrl Shaw; son Wally (Nina) Shaw of Brinkley; daughter, Kelly Shaw of Maumelle; brothers, Larry Joe (Judy) Hood of Brinkley, Danny Ray (Carol) Hood of Kansas City, Kan.; grandchildren, Denver Shaw, Kim Shaw Henderson; great-grandchildren, Braxton Henderson, Laila Jones. Visitation will be 12-1 p.m. at Brinkley First Baptist Church with Memorial services at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 29. Arrangements by Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home.
