Charles Edwin Roush, 82, of Searcy, passed away, Tuesday, May 27, 2014. The only child of O.E. and Clara Presley Roush he was born Wednesday, September 30, 1931. He was the loving husband of Thelma Louise Evans Roush for 43 years. Ed was a beloved Dad and Grandpa and was survived by Brian Keith and wife Angela Carson Roush of Judsonia and James Timothy Roush of Alpharetta, Georgia; two granddaughters, Juliet Alexandria Roush and Georgia Louise Roush of Maumelle; a sister-in-law, Norma Jean Breedlove of Fort Smith; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife; and a son, Gary Lynn Roush. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Searcy, a master electrician, a 45 year member of IBEW, and served his country as a member of the Army National Guard. Family visitation will be Friday, May 30, 2014, 6-8 p.m. in the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel (501) 268-3546. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 31, 2014, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother David Crouch officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
