Kenny Alton Smith died at UAMS Little Rock, Ark. on October 30, 2014 due to complications following liver failure. He was 53. Officiating the service will be Arkansas Funeral Care of Jacksonville Arkansas; Sister Jean Zulpo will minister at Souls Anchor Church.
Mr. Smith was born on April 14, 1961 in Tinker Field Air Force Base in Midwest City Oklahoma, to his parents, Kenneth Ray Smith and Linda Paulette Bennett. Kenny was a skilled carpenter; he also enjoyed fishing, music, fine foods and spending time behind a BBQ pit.
Mr. Smith is survived by his mother, Linda Bennett; daughter, Kendall; stepson Marlon Morrison and wife Cheryl of Bronx, New York; his brother Paul Ryder of Cabot, Ark.; Kathy Stevens of Little Italy, Ark.; Kim Stewart of Coco Beach Florida. He is preceded in death by his brother, Jeff; nephew, Chadwick Stevens; grandparents, Bernard and Pauline Drumright; and father Kenneth.
Mr. Smith will be buried on November 8, 2014. Viewing will be from 11 to 1 p.m. A memorial will begin at 1 p.m. at Souls Anchor Church, Little Italy. All are welcome to attend and celebrate his life. www.arkansasfuneralcare.com.
