William Brown Adney "Bill", 85, Little Rock, Pulaski, Arkansas, died on November 2, 2014 at Presbyterian Village. Bill was born March 22, 1929 in Camden, Arkansas to the late Genona B. Adney, Sr. and Lula M. (Ray) Adney. Preceded in death by his wife Eloise Steele (Ellis) Adney, granddaughter, Cassandra Adney, and his brothers and sister. Bill is survived by his sister-in-law, Mary (Shock) Adney, one son, William B. Adney Jr., and his wife Susan, three daughters, Cindy Steele, K. Aurora Adney, Chotsie Adney, and her husband, John Gardner III; grandchildren, Jared Adney and his wife Gracie, Taylor Adney, Jacob Adney, Claire Adney, Lyric Adney and great-grandson, Isaiah Adney, as well as many nieces and nephews. Bill retired as a civil engineer from Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. He served with the United States Coast Guard Reserves. Bill will rest at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. A memorial service will be held November 6th at 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary of the First United Methodist Church, Little Rock, 723 Center Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Arkansas Wildlife Federation or First United Methodist Church of Little Rock.
