Opal Williams Harper

Opal Williams Harper of Little Rock, died November 4, 2014, at the age of 92. Born in Marshall, Texas, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Willie D. Harper; her parents, Richard & Odessa Williams; two brothers, Richard Williams Jr. and Arthur G. Williams. She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Harper of Cincinnati, Ohio and her son, Willie Harper (Jewell) of Decatur, Georgia; one granddaughter, Lindsay Harper; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 4 p.m. at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S. Chester St., Little Rock, Ark. (501) 372-1305. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 10, 2014 at 10 am, at Union A.M.E Church, 1825 Pulaski Street, LR. Interment will follow at Little Rock National Cemetery.
