Barbara T. Bragg

Barbara T. Bragg, 80, of Camden, Ark. passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014, in Plano, Texas. She was born May 7, 1934 in Prairie Grove, Ark. to Troy and Myrtle Smith Toney. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Camden, where she served as Sunday school Teacher and Chancel Choir member, and United Methodist Women district president for four years. She was a graduate of Farmington High School, and a B.A. degree from John Brown University, and Masters of Education from University of Arkansas. She was a retired teacher after 23 of years of service, and was a member of the New Century Club. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, John S. Bragg. Survivors include her two daughters, Gladys Strickland of Daytona Beach, Fla and Becky Hall and husband, Dennis of Plano, Texas; and three grandchildren, Eric Hall of Philadelphia, Pa., Austin Hall of Plano, Texas, and Jonathan Strickland of Ward, Ark. he family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation for the friendships and support of the Camden community. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, November 9, 2014 at First United Methodist Church of Camden with burial in Bell Chapel Cemetery near Chidester.
