CLYDEAN ZIMMERMAN, age 83, of North Little Rock, Ark. passed from this life on Nov. 6, 2014. She was born March 22, 1931 in Cleveland, Ark. to Clyde and Pearl Halbrook. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Clydean was employed with Carl Finch Janitorial Supplies (along with her husband) for 30 years, and Baptist Health for 12 years. Clydean, along with her husband Clarence Zimmerman, helped found Service Professionals, Inc., a subsidiary of Baptist Health in Little Rock. Clydean loved flower gardening, as well as baking for family, friends, and neighbors. She was also an avid LA Lakers fan. Clydean is survived by her daughter, Sharon; her son, Don and wife Karen; two grandsons, Ken and wife Amie, and Andrew and wife, Christian, all of North Little Rock. She was anticipating the arrival of her first two great-grandchildren. Clydean is also survived by her sister, Wanda Jean; brother-in-law, Kurt Hartman of Michigan; a special niece, Marsha Gottsponer; aunts, Hettie Mae Hofherr and Reva Dale (Othell) Thompson; brothers-in-law, E.L. and Robert Zimmerman; and sisters-in-law, Marie Beck, Dorothy Thines and husband John, Rosalie Beck and husband Ronnie, as well as many extended family and countless loving friends. Clydean was preceded in death by Clarence Zimmerman, her husband of 61 years, and her sister Betty and brother-in-law Emil Gottsponer. A special thank you to the doctors and caring staff members at Baptist Springhill ICU. Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Sunday at Harris Funeral Home in Morrilton, followed by a rosary from 7-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church near Hattieville, Ark. with Father Jim Burnie officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to perpetual cemetery funds at St. Mary Catholic Church Hattieville, Ark., or Old Liberty Cemetery, or charity of your choice.
