Woodis "Woody" Michael Chenault

WOODIS "WOODY" MICHAEL CHENAULT, age 65, of Little Rock, passed away Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 at Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock. Woody was born Aug. 19, 1949 in Gardena, California and raised in Little Rock, Ark. He graduated from Fuller High School in 1967. After graduation, he worked on river barges for Eastern Associated Terminals, was later a self employed carpenter and most recently employed by Little Rock Wastewater Utility. Woody was a faithful member of the Church at Rock Creek and his favorite past times included fishing, cheering on the Hogs, spending time with family (especially his grandchildren), and watching John Wayne movies. Woody was preceded in death by his parents, James Nelson Sr. and Evelyn Chenault; brother, James Nelson Chenault Jr. He is survived by his wife, Glenda; daughter, Ashley Rowan (Shawn); stepchildren, Jennifer Wilson, Shannon Wilson, Jeremy Wilson (Samantha); grandchildren, Seth Leavell, Blake Leavell, Audrey Rowan, Taylor Hicks, Lucas Howard, and Xavier Brown; nephew, James Nelson Chenault III and niece, Tracy Chenault. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. at Ruebel Funeral Home, 6313 W. Markham St., Little Rock, Ark. 72205.
