Josh Malcolm Thomason

Josh Malcolm Thomason, age 78, of Crossett, Ark., passed away on Monday, November 10, 2014 at his home. He was born on February 3, 1936 in Homer, La. to his parents, James Samuel and Mary Jewel Hood Thomason. Mr. Thomason had worked at Jr. Meeks Body Shop. He was a Baptist and enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Wayne and Raymond Thomason. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Janice Maxine Thomason of Crossett, AR; one daughter, Sharon Deniece Styn (Ricky) of Sherwood, Ark.; three sisters, Roseleen Davidson and LaNell Thomason, both of Sunnyvale, Texas and Genevieve Truschel of Fresno, Calif.; two grandchildren, Nicholas James Styn and Kristina Deniece Styn. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Griffith officiating. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, Ark. (www.jonesservice.com). Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Nick Styn, Tate Watt, Malcolm Lee, Dennis Rickman, Tommy Rickman and Frank McMahan.
