Christine Illg, 57, of Valley City, N.D., died Monday, November 3, 2014 at Sheyenne Care Center, Valley City. Christine Illg was born March 28, 1957, in Perham, Minn., the daughter of LuVerne and Barbara (Poppler) Illg of Frazee, Minn. Christine is survived by her daughter, Tela Pihlaja; grandson, Woody Pihlaja; mother, Barbara Poppler, Frazee, Minn.; brothers, Mike (Becky) Illg, Frazee, Minn., Jeffrey Illg, Detroit Lakes, Minn., Danny, Coon Rapids, Minn.; sister, Cynthia Keen, West Fargo, N.D. She was preceded in death by her father, LuVerne Illg; grandparents, Clara & George Poppler and Robert & Leona Illg; and nephews, Ricky Illg and Joseph Boit. Memorial Service: 1 p.m., Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Furey Funeral Home, Frazee, Minn. Visitation: None scheduled. Local arrangements were in the care of Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown. Interment: Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, Frazee, Minn. in the spring of 2015.
