Raylon L. Jones, 20, of Little Rock, passed away on November 7, 2014. Raylon, who was born on July 21, 1994, was raised in the loving home of Sandra and Dennis Tate along with his sister, Kolesha King, and his younger brother, Donovan Tate. He is also survived by his older brother, Antoine Tate, of District Heights, Maryland, his devoted grandparents, maternal great-grandmother and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. Raylon's passion for life and his dedication to his family and friends made him especially dear, and he will forever live in the hearts of those that loved him. Raylon was a 2012 graduate of J.A. Fair High School, where he played football and was accepted into the War Eagle Academic Excellence Club. Shortly after graduation, he enlisted in the Arkansas Army National Guard and successfully served in the 198th Infantry Brigade. Specialist Raylon Jones was employed as an instructor for the Arkansas Youth Challenge Program at Camp Robinson in North Little Rock. He loved his job and excelled at mentoring the youth enrolled in that program. He worked hard to help those young men become "productive citizens".
