Jane Dills Morgan

Jane Dills Morgan was born in 1941 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Robert Nelson and Lucile Gable Dills. She graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas in 1963 and was an officer of Pi Beta Phi. Jane established a strong legacy of giving and philanthropy throughout her lifetime. She was a founding board member of the Boys & Girls Club of Faulkner County and an active board member of the Fort Smith Boys & Girls Club. Jane was also an avid supporter of the University of Central Arkansas Friends of Music Society. Jane supported the University of Arkansas Athletics program, continuing a tradition started by her father RN Dills in the 1950's. In her parents honor, Jane helped facilitated the Dills Indoor Tennis Center at the University of Arkansas in 2002. In the 1970's, Jane and the Dills family were instrumental in supporting Demographics, Inc. which later became Acxiom Corporation. Jane is preceded in death by her parents Lucille and RN Dills and survived by her daughter and son-in-law Caroline Morgan Ford and Rodney Ford of Little Rock. She is also survived by her son and daughter- in-law of Ladera Ranch, California, Charles Robert and Victoria Morgan and five grandchildren: Rodney Yale Ford, Makenna Jane Morgan, Lainey Elle Morgan, Morgan Juliette Ford and Chase Robert Morgan. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Nancy Dills and Ewell Lee. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a celebration of Jane's life on Saturday, November 15th, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Bonneville House, located at 318 North 7th Street in Fort Smith. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
