Cabot, AR, 1938 - 2014

Bobby Lee Doyle, 76, of Cabot died Friday, Nov. 14, 2014. He was born April 28, 1938 in Aplin to the late Dot and Reble Minnie Doyle. Mr. Doyle was a member of Cabot United Methodist Church and was the director of Special Olympics Arkansas for 40 years. Prior to that, he was a school principal at Grady and a teacher, coach and principal in the Cabot school system. Mr. Doyle was a member of the Lions, Civitan, Kiwanis and Rotary clubs throughout his life. He served his country in the Army Reserves, was a huge Cabot Panther supporter, an avid hunter and fisherman and an Arkansas Razorback sports fan. In addition to his parents, Mr. Doyle was preceded in death by his sisters, Lena Fay Brussels, Ola Mae McCammon and Alice Nichols, and brothers, Sam, L.C., J.R. and Ted Doyle.
Mr. Doyle is survived by his wife, Peggy Mize Doyle; his daughters, Joanna Lucas and her husband, Michael, of Cabot, Debbie Horton and her husband, Scott, of North Little Rock and Beth Hicks and her husband, Bo, of Cabot. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Mika Bishop and her husband, Daniel, Drake Horton and Reid Horton as well as a great-grandson, Lucas Bishop.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014 at Cabot United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501)843-5816.
