Charles Uluster Hill passed away Nov. 12, 2014. He was born May 26, 1932 in Crescent, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Flossie Hill; his sons, James, Terry, Marion and Darryl Hill; his daughter, Sherian Caldwell and brothers, Nathaniel, Carl and Truman Hill.
He served in the Army during the Korean War and later worked for the U.S. government for 31 years until his retirement in 1991.
Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Fonzella Hill; daughters, Beverly Wigley, Pamela Bridges, Faye Breckenridge, Sheena Miller of Oklahoma; Chandra Norris of Utah; Karen Rollins of North Little Rock; sons, Wiley and Timmy Hill of Utah; sister, Mae Glynn; brothers, James, Cecil, Carleice (Mary Jo), Leontra, Sherman (Lyndella) and Glen Hill and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, family members and special friends.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17 at Gallean Baptist Church. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with interment following at 2 p.m. at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery.
