EVELYN S. BANKS, 88, of Little Rock peacefully slept away Nov. 10. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ray Banks Sr. EB attended Little Rock public schools. She was organist for many years at Miles Chapel CME church. EB retired from Baptist Hospital as a nutritionist. She enjoyed sitting on her front porch at the 24, shopping at Food Giant and Kroger. Left to cherish her memories: daughter, Equilla Banks Webb; devoted son, Ray Banks Jr. (Kay); grandchildren, Mia Stewart (Steve), Jay Webb (Stephanie), Tiaffo, June, RamonIII, Stevie Ray Banks and Franchine Mccray (Damian); great-grandchildren, Deotre Banks, Simone Stewart, Elliott and Bertta Webb. Nephews; nieces, special cousins, Val Pitts, Shirley Banks, Beverly Smith(Elton). Special friends, Jackie Tanner, Cora Perry Strong, Jeffrey Drew I (Pam), Harold Watkins and JoAnn Walton-Handy (Rev.George). Funeral service is Nov. 22 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
