Doris Lee Croxton

Doris Lee Hickmon Croxton, 95, of Cabot, died Friday, November 14. She was born September 13, 1919 in Bradford, Arkansas, the daughter of U.L. and Coral Ann Mack Hickmon. Doris was a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University of Arkadelphia, Arkansas. She was married to Earl Croxton for 57 years, who served pastorates in Arkansas, Texas, Kentucky and Indiana for many years of their married life. Doris is survived by two daughters, Ann Parks and her husband B.J., and Martha Taussig and her husband Paul; a son, Tom Croxton and his wife Vada Agnes Davidson; grandchildren Charla Parks, Michelle Li, Robert Taussig, Carol Rogers, Tommy, Jennifer, Michael, Teresa, John and David Taussig, and Rachel Croxton; and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Croxton; a daughter, Carol Jean Croxton; a brother, Marshall Hickmon; two sisters, Mabel Hickmon Mason and Lois Hickmon Williford. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
