Harvey Cletus Smith

Harvey Cletus Smith, 82, of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014. He served in the United States Army and National Guard. He served as a Deacon at North Hills Baptist Church. Cletus was a member of Gideon's International and Gideon's Prison Ministry. He was also a proprietor of barbeque restaurants for 50 years. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Lemley; son, Don (Jane) Smith; four grandchildren, Jon DuVall, Chad Hendrix (Lauren), Britt Smith (Allie) and Grant Smith (Morgan); four great-grandchildren, Keegan and Kennedy Smith, Carson Smith, and Campbell Hendrix. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 60 years, Delores "Dee" Uhrich Smith; and four siblings, Velma Carr, Lois Hicks, Charlie Smith and Donald Smith. Memorials may be made to Gideon's International, P.O. Box 1022, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72115. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Cabot.
