Carl D. Enna Jr. of Little Rock was born June 12, 1952 in Kansas City, Mo. and passed away suddenly at his home in Little Rock, Ark. on November 12, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents Carl D. Enna Sr. and Ivah Morgan Enna. He is survived by his wife of 8 years Georgianne, his daughter, Mary Rose Enna of New Orleans and stepdaughters, Jeanine Brown of Van Buren, Mo. and Serena Shadwick (Stacy) of Nixa, Mo. Other survivors include his sisters, Mary Ann Marsh of Portland, Ore., Beverly Mederios of Providence, R.I., Judy Gibbon of Albuquerque, N.M., Carol Woody of Vizalia, Calif. and Susan Melling of Kansas City, Mo., his grandchildren, Ryan Merriman, Joseph Nobert and Jacob Stephens along with many nieces nephews cousins and extended family and friends. Carl was a very generous man, having a great sense of humor and a warm and outgoing personality who never met a stranger. His favorite pastimes included cooking, photography, bowling which he had a 187 average, and bass fishing. He was an avid fan of the LSU Tigers, New Orleans Saints, and the Kansas City Royals. He worked as a program director and DJ for over 30 years at various radio stations in Athens, Ga., Kansas City, Mo., Baltimore, Md. and Louisiana. He also worked as a deputy sheriff in Louisiana and for the office of Governor Mike Huckabee. He was a 16 year Esophageal cancer survivor. He and Georgianne and had recently completed building their retirement home in Springfield. Mo. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. A "Celebration of Carl's Life" will be held at Forest Hills Funeral Home 10200, Hwy. 5 N in Alexander, Ark. on Friday, November 21st, 2014 at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends the hour prior to the service. www.griffinleggettforesthills.com.
