Geraldine Townsend

Geraldine Townsend's, 82 of Wayzata, Minn., formerly of Little Rock, Ark., final chapter closed on Nov. 20. She was born to William and Eva Smith Townsend on Jan. 14 1932. Geraldine attended the public schools of Little Rock. She worked for the United Friends Hospital and Funeral Home. She retired from Missouri Pacific Hospital. She was a member of the St. Peter Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memories: brother, Rev. Wesley Townsend (Annie); daughters, Brenda J. Townsend of Upatoi, Ga., Deborah Cail (Murray) Plymouth, Minn. and Stormy Townsend of Little Rock, Ark.; nine grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation is 11 a.m., followed by the service at noon at Billman Hunt Funeral Home, 2701 Central Ave. NE, Minneapolis, Minn. on Wednesday Nov. 26. 612-789-3535.
