Sharon L. Miller

Sharon Miller, 78, of Van Buren, passed away Friday, Nov. 21 in Van Buren. She was a retired school teacher. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and Delta Zeta Sorority. She was also a member of the Retired Teachers Assn. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Fort Smith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Miller; one son, Tommy Miller; one brother, Jimmy Livesay. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2014 at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Fort Smith with Reverend Phillip Baxter officiating under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. She is survived by one son, Bobby Miller, of Rogers, Ark; one brother–in law, Russell Miller and wife Ina of Clarksville, Ark.; one sister in law, Sue Livesay of Hazen, Ark.; one grandson, Dr. Mitchell Gibson of Lowell, Ark.; two granddaughters, Crystal Ann and husband Dr. David Morse of Cabot, Ark., Sara Beth and husband Dan Abernathy of Van Buren; seven great-grandchildren, Austin, Brayden, Emily, Ethan, Kylan, Maddie and Miller; three nieces; and one nephew.
