Steven Hall Thomas, 61, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014. Steve was born Jan. 10, 1953 in Little Rock, Ark. and grew up in Benton, Ark. Steve is survived by his partner, Allan Cox Thomas of Little Rock; parents, Raymond and Jo Thomas of Benton; a daughter, Ashley Wallace (Johnathan) and grandchildren, Peyton and Makynsey Wallace of Benton; a brother, Bruce Thomas (Susan) of Benton; a special cousin, Beau Satori of Eureka Springs; nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Steve also leaves behind his constant companions, his dogs, Jacob and Isiah. Steve was an active volunteer for over 16 years for St. Vincent's Hospice and Baptist Hospice and was an advocate for HIV/AIDS care. Steve's motto was "Volunteer in an area that touches your heart." A memorial and celebration of Steve's life will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014 in Selph Hall of First Baptist Church, 211 S. Main St., Benton, Ark. Bro.
