Betty Jane Hawthorne, 83 of Traskwood, passed away Nov. 26, 2014. She was born Oct. 22, 1931 in Garland County to the late Albert and Delma Howerton Helton. Betty was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors: sons, Hershell Hawthorne of Traskwood, Robert Thornton of Jacksonville, Roger Thornton of Traskwood; daughters, Carolyn Robinson of Houston, Texas, Diane Stillman of Traskwood; and four sisters; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 2 p.m.. Saturday at Fairplay Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Friday at Ashbys.
