Charles G. Hudlow

Charles G. Hudlow, 84, of Russellville, died Thursday, November 27, 2014, at Paris Health and Rehabilitation LLC. He was born January 23, 1930, at Russellville, Arkansas, to Grady and Mae Partin Hudlow. He was a veteran, and served in the Air Force. He owned and retired from Charlie's Auto Supply in Russellville and Dover Auto in Dover. He attended The Refuge Church and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family, fishing, playing music with friends, and flying RC airplanes. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, George Hudlow. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Barbara Norris Hudlow; a son, Jerry, and wife, Charlotte Hudlow of Rogers; a daughter, Diana and husband, Mike Lewis of Russellville; four grandchildren, Andrea Hudlow Watson, Michael, Bryan and Kenny Smith; five great-grandchildren, Ashlynn and Jaxton Watson, Joshua, Kaleigh and Colby Smith; and many other relatives and friends. The funeral will be at 2 p.m., on Monday, December 1, 2014, at the Shinn Chapel. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park, by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, from 1-2:30 p.m., at the funeral home. Active pallbearers will be Ernie Gray, David Billyard, Stephen McCulley, Dennis Ward, Rick Hart and Greg Standridge. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Hamilton, Walter Wooten, and Leonard Elliot. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children's Hospital Foundation, Post Office Box 2222, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203-9984 or Arkansas Sheriff Ranch, Post Office Box 3964, Batesville, Arkansas 72501.
