Ernest Edward Hagerman

Ernest Edward Hagerman, age 85, of Hot Springs passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014. He was born September 2, 1929 in Pulaski County, Arkansas to the late Henry and Bertha Hagerman. He retired from the United States Army after 21 years of service. He served in WWII, Korea and in the Vietnam War. After his retirement Mr. Hagerman worked in law enforcement as an Arkansas State Trooper, a Warden of Tucker Maximum Security Prison and was head of a security company. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, DAV, Patriot Guard, Police Defenders MC, and Southern Cruisers MC. He also enjoyed fishing, computer games and motorcycling. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Herman "Shorty" Hagerman. He is survived by his loving wife Carol Hagerman, children, Sherry Hungerford, Steven Hagerman, one brother Charles Hagerman and his wife Betty and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 9:45 a.m. Monday, December 1, 2014 at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Jessieville. Visitation start at 9 a.m. Interment will follow in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt.
