Russell Shipley

Russell Shipley, 63, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014. He was born February 8, 1951 in Forrest City, Ark. to Martha Shipley Noles and the late Herbert Shipley. He moved to Colton, Calif. in 1961 where he resided until returning to live Arkansas in 2005. Russell is survived by his loving mother and stepfather, Martha Shipley Noles and Herman Noles; He is also survived by his friend and first wife Jackie Lovelace Shipley, who is the mother of his eldest son Ryan Shipley of Elsinore, Calif. and Tiffany Shipley Carmean of San Bernardino, Calif.; His ex-wife Jodi Shipley and his children Russell, Christian, Dakota and Hunter Shipley and Richard Nixon; brothers, Rick(Ark.) and Daniel(Calif.) Shipley; sisters, Wanda Oaks (Calif.), Linda Shipley Hanson (Ark.), Karen Shipley (Texas) and Lori Shipley Noble(Calif.); 14 grandchildren; also many nieces, nephews. Rusty was a wonderful son, father, and grandfather. He will with be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with Rusty, knowing that his is loved by all. He is preceded in death by his father, Herbert Shipley. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 3 from 1 p.m to 3 p.m. at the Taylor-Cox Funeral Home Chapel at 2640 Thomasville Rd., Ark.
