Charles Douglas Campbell, age 77, of Benton, passed away Friday, No. 28, 2014. He was born Feb. 4, 1937 in Bauxite. Charles worked for Reynolds Aluminum in the Quality Control Laboratory and after retiring from Reynolds, he worked for Alcoa. He graduated from Bauxite High School and attended the University Of Arkansas on a football scholarship. Charles was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, T. J. Campbell and Lois Vizzier Campbell; brothers, Elmer Campbell and Leon Campbell; and sisters, Margaret Campbell Donner and Janice Campbell King.
Survivors: wife, Barbara Campbell, Benton; son, Charles Earl Campbell, Benton; and a brother, Larry Campbell.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday at Ashby's.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Pine Crest Cemetery
