James Allen Reedy

James Allen Reedy passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014, after a long battle with cancer. He was born on November 27th 1939 in Dickenson County, Virginia. He enjoyed deer hunting, going to auctions and spending time with his family. He was retired from Chicopee in North Little Rock. He was honorably discharged from the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Ethel Reedy, brothers, Kenneth and Mike Reedy and sisters, Phyllis Jung and Karen Reedy. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Charlsie Reedy, son, Ronnie Reedy, daughter, Brenda (Rich) Reed, brother, Larry Reedy, sisters, Janet Apger and Faye Reedy, his beloved grandkids, Bethanie and Jared Reedy, Jacob, Kinley and Jessica Reed, along with many nephews and nieces. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth in Little Rock. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Springlake Church of the Nazarene in Hensley with Pastor Phil Stein officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Sheridan.
